Five Senses supplies morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments everyday. All meals are nutritionally balanced, supervised and culturally varied to ensure that children receive all their 5 food groups in a variety of meals.
Information on children with special or culturally diverse dietary needs is gathered from the parents via the children’s enrolment forms.
At Five Senses, we shall endeavor to provide meals that are appropriate for the developmental needs of your child at all times respecting children’s dietary, cultural and religious needs.
Staff members encourage meal times to be an enjoyable experience. Staff will interact and eat with the children during meals and discus the food i.e. its texture, its taste, which country it is from etc. Children are encouraged to try all foods however, sandwiches will always be provided as an alternative.
